The Builder
Bedirhan Ugur is an artist working at the intersection of art and technology. Through generative systems and drawing robots, he explores how simple rules and structured interactions can lead to unexpected outcomes. His practice focuses on controlled randomness and emergence, where structured repetition gives rise to unforeseen forms and patterns.
The Collection
Within defined limits, forms multiply, shift, and weave unexpected patterns. Out of repetition, an order unfolds. And each order holds meaning in its own quiet space. Here, the unseen is made seen. Monotif is a conceptual framework built upon a core generative system. Through repetition, variation, and manual input, patterns evolve through layered compositions. What appears is not a singular outcome, but a field of possibilities where order arises from constraint, and complexity continues to expand.
